NBM at 2020 American Booksellers Association’s Winter Institute and ALA Midwinter Conference

This week, NBM Graphic Novels will be represented at two major industry events .

Running from January 21-24, the American Bookseller’s Association presents their Winter Institute 2020 Program, to be held in Baltimore.

The American Booksellers Association, a national not-for-profit trade organization, works with booksellers and industry partners to ensure the success and profitability of independently owned book retailers, and to assist in expanding the community of the book.

Independent bookstores act as community anchors; they serve a unique role in promoting the open exchange of ideas, enriching the cultural life of communities, and creating economically vibrant neighborhoods.

NBM will be represented at the IPG Booth
throughout the show.

From January 24-27, NBM will be represented at the American Library Association Midwinter Meeting in Philadelphia.

The ALA Midwinter Meeting & Exhibits and the ALA Annual Conference & Exhibits are premier global library events hosted every year, bringing together the newsmakers, innovators, thought leaders, and influencers in the library field, from all over the world.

Where librarian news is made!

Important announcements are delivered, updates are shared, relevant legislation and policies are addressed, and discussions take place that have a major impact on libraries, their role, and their ongoing transformation. These events trend nationally on Twitter and are extensively covered in the media.
