Here’s what we’ve got being solicited for in comics stores now:
THE RETURN OF PATRICK ATANGAN!
This collection of short stories forms a singular narrative that reveals the tiny moments when you realize you are at the precious end-days of youth. Atangan creates an intricate mosaic from his own childhood memories as well as those gathered from friends and family. Bittersweet, joyful and reflective, these are the type of marking moments that best define us as adults.
By the author of the Yellow Jar and Silk Tapestry.

One of our best books this season, The Initiates, about a comic artist swapping jobs with a wine artisan, is on its way to stores now!
Advance buzz from reviewers on this is high, once people get to read this we’re sure this will become a can’t miss for this year! Out of nowhere it rose to bestseller in France recently surpassing 100,000 copies sold.

I’d like to welcome Top Shelf to the 21st century and digital comics.
I find the hoopla around their announcement somewhat amusing especially as we’ve been there, done that for over two years now and have quite a nice library up on Comixology building for some time now! So declarations about being the first, well, Chris, I luv ya, but…
Check out our Comixology page here and the other choices we have.
We’re also working with our distributor IPG to get us available with e-tailers and providers beyond comics ones in the general realm of e-books. So, Libraries: Overdrive should have us already! And that’s just one.
End of bass drum beating.
“NBM ComicsLit’s partnership with The Louvre museum has produced another outstanding graphic novel. The Sky Over The Louvre almost couldn’t miss. It’s written by celebrated screenwriter Jean-Claude Carrière (The Tin Drum, The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie), and drawn by leading French artist Bernar Yslaire (Sambre), and both demonstrate the surefootedness of their experience in both quality and content.”
Andrew Smith, Scripps-Howards News and as seen in the Seattle Times and Memphis Commercial Appeal, amongst others.
“De Crécy’s loose, organic illustrations breathe life into his characters and give energy to his panel movement.
Verdict: De Crécy’s dry, witty humor combined with his endearing creatures makes a singular and worthy addition to comprehensive graphic novel collections.”
says Library Journal of Salvatore in a starred review.
